Latin name: Argania Spinosa
Argan oil is derived from the nuts of the argan tree. The fruit of the argan tree, which grows only in the southwestern part of Morocco, is green and looks like an olive but is larger and rounder. The nut can contain up to three kernels from which the argan oil is extracted.
