Shea Butter

Latin name: Vitellaria paradoxa

Rich in vitamins Α, Ε and Ω6 fatty acid, which make it the skin’s best friend, as a wonderful moisturizing creme and with healing properties. Used to heal burns, wounds and scars, dermatitis, psoriasis, dandruff and stretch marks. Can also reduce wrinkles by moisturizing the skin, promotes cell regeneration and increases circulation. Contains cinnamic acid, a substance which helps protect the skin from harmful UV rays and can be used as a sunblock with a low sun protection factor while it also has anti-inflammatory properties.
It is a highly effective moisturizer, since it contains many fatty acids necessary for maintaining moisture in the skin and its elasticity. Therefor is widely used in the production of cosmetics.

Eliminates rashes including nappy rash in babies. Also used during pregnancy to prevent stretch marks.
