Anxiety & Stress Relief blend can be a great support in reducing phycological and physiological markers of stress.

A botanical formula that is made of adaptogen and nervine herbs that have an overall calming effect.

Aqua, Alcohol, Withania Somnifera Root* Extract, Verbena Officinalis Leaf* Extract, Avena Sativa Extract, Glycyrrhiza Glabra Root* Extract.  * Certified organic. 

1 tsp (5ml) in a quarter of a glass of water, twice a day on an empty stomach.

Caution should be taken in combination with sedatives from the barbiturate and benzodiazepine families, due to possibility of increasing the effect of the drugs.

Avoid use during pregnancy. 

Store the container in a cool and dry place. Avoid direct contact with very bright light or sunlight as it might damage the product.

Medicinal Actions: General tonic, rejuvenating, nervous system tonic, sedative, adaptogen, immuno-modulator, anti-tumor, anti-inflammatory, astringent, anti-anemic, aphrodisiac, oxytocic.

Medicinal Uses: Also known as the "Indian ginseng". It is used as a first-rate adaptogen.

Its uniqueness is that it also has a calming effect on the central nervous system.

In modern herbal medicine, the root is attributed a moderate intensity of activity and is very acceptable for mental and physical strengthening. In traditional Indian medicine - Ayurveda, the plant has general healing properties and prolongs life.

Is used to restore health to the nervous system and eases stress and mental exhaustion as it promotes mental clarity and improves memory and stamina.

Clinically proven to help reduce stress, anxiety, and depression, and may increase brain cognition, support thyroid function, support adrenal health, as well as help balance blood sugar levels. 

Can significantly lower cortisol levels, stress, anxiety and depressive symptoms, can help overcome adrenal fatigue.

It also helps to stabilize mood, relieve insomnia, and revitalize the body.

Part used: Aerial part.

Medicinal Actions: Strengthens/nourishes the nervous system, stimulates bile production and secretion, stomach stimulant, sedative, mild laxative, improves breast milk yield, antidepressant, anticonvulsant.

Medicinal Uses:

It is useful in irritated, depressed states. It will tone and strengthen the whole nervous system while relaxing any tension or stress. It can be used to ease depression and melancholia, especially when this follows illness such as influenza.

Warnings: There are no known significant side effects or contraindications as a result of using medical doses of the plant. Do not use during pregnancy.

Wild Oat

Avena Sativa

Parts Used: Milky Seed

Medical Action: lowers fat/cholesterol levels in the blood, balances/nourishes the hormonal system (women) ,strengthens the heart, strengthens/nourishes the nervous system, relaxes, improves breast milk yield, improves sexual function.

Medical uses: Overall is a nervous system trophorestorative, is nutritive in cases of debility from anxiety, depression & fatigue. Taken over time will increase one’s stamina and strength. Will “feed” the nervous system especially when under stress, and is specific in cases of nervous debility and exhaustion, especially when associated with depression, insomnia, and “weakness of the nerves”.  Has been given to help with addiction withdrawals (e.g. opium, tobacco).

Warnings: 

There are no known side effects from medical use of the plant in the recommended dose range.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding: The plant can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Liquorice

Medicinal actions: General tonic, anti-depressant, adrenal restorative, adrenal tonic, anti-tumor, anti-viral, anti-inflammatory, anti-tussive, mucoprotector, expectorant, detoxifier, demulcent, hepatoprotector, anti-ulcer, mild laxative, aldosterone-like action, anti-spasmodic.

Medicinal use:

The herb is best known for supporting adrenal function. It is an anti-stress herb known to increase energy, endurance and vitality, and act as a mild tonic. It has been used to stimulate the hormones for anti-inflammatory action, as well as naturally fortify cortisone levels–arguably the most important hormone in stress and adrenal fatigue.

- In modern herbal medicine it is often used for the purpose of "balancing" the formula and "harmonious connection" between its various components, as well as to improve its taste and to protect the stomach from other plants included in the formula. 

- In Traditional Chinese Medicine is used as the plant that links and connects the plants in the formula and helps it to be absorbed and assimilated well by the patient. 

Warnings: Studies show that the tendency to suffer side effects is intensified in people with hypertension, people suffering from functional disorders of the liver, people with slow bowel activity, weaned from alcoholism and women taking birth control pills. The side effects may include headaches, hypertension, loss of potassium (hypokalemia), sodium retention and fluid retention (edema), fatigue and possible impairment of heart function. The side effects disappear with a reduction in the dose/stopping the use of the plant.
