Digestion botanical blend is a means of helping your body to digest food more effectively. 

If you are suffering from indigestion, heartburn or/and flatulence that might be the remedy for you.

A blend of digestive herbs that enhance bile secretion and promote digestion.

They reduce abdominal pain (colic) and acid reflex (heartburn) while also help remove extra gases from the intestine (flatulence).

They also have a soothing effect in the large intestine offering relief when suffering from irritable bowel syndrome.

Aqua, Alcohol, Matricaria Recutita Flower* Extract, Foeniculum Vulgaris Seed* Extract, Mentha Piperita Leaf* Extact, Glycyrrhiza Glabra Root* Extract, Zingiber Officinalis Root* Extract. Certified organic.

1 tsp (5ml) in a quarter of a glass of water, twice a day on an empty stomach. Do not use if suffering from gastric ulcers.

Store the container in a cool and dry place. Avoid direct contact with very bright light or sunlight as it might damage the product.

Medicinal actions: Mild nervous system sedative, anti-spasmodic, analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, anti-emetic, carminative, anti-microbial, vulnerary, anti-ulcer, anti-allergic

Medicinal use: Matricaria is specific for use in all kinds of gastrointestinal disturbances associated with nervous irritability in the treatment of IBS and colitis. It’s safe to use in children and it’s powerful anti-inflammatory actions make it useful in almost any condition. Topically is is wound healing and a mild anesthetic useful for rheumatic & muscular pains and neuralgia.

Warnings:  No side effects or contraindications are known.

Organic Fennel

Foeniculum vulgare

Medicinal Actions: Stomachic, carminative, anti-inflammatory, phytoestrogenic, galactogogue.

Medicinal Uses: The volatile oil relaxes the smooth muscles of the intestines thus relieving griping and flatulence. 

Fennel is often used with purgatives to allay the associated griping.  Fennel is also anti-inflammatory in the intestines.

The widespread use of the plant's seeds as home "grandmother's remedies" and its activity on our bodies has made it very useful for alleviating the symptoms of gas and stomach expansion in babies, and it is widely used to relieve severe indigestion or stomachaches in adults as well.

In modern herbal medicine, fennel is considered a gentle herb that is usually used as a gas reliever in formulas intended for the digestive system.

Warnings: No known side effects; Due to the estrogenic activity of the plant, it is recommended not to take it in situations of estrogen-dependent cancerous tumors.

Medicinal Actions: Carminative, antispasmodic, aromatic, diaphoretic, anti-emetic, nervine, anti-septic, analgesic, anti-microbial, anti-inflammatory, decongestant, anti-tussive, peripheral vasodilator, choleretic, cholagogue, emmenagogue, anti-pruritic.

Medicinal Uses: 

In modern herbal medicine, it is considered a gentle plant that is mainly indicated for the treatment of digestive system problems. Will inhibit mucous secretion temporarily because of it’s menthol component.

It can be used whenever there is excess mucous secreted, helping also with it’s antispasmodic and carminative actions.

Is one of the best carminatives available, having a relaxing effect on visceral muscles and relieving intestinal colic and flatulence.

The volatile oil acts as a mild anaesthetic to the stomach wall which help with feelings of nausea during travel or pregnancy. 

Warnings: Care should be taken when using among those suffering from gallstones and the plant should not be used in this population without professional supervision.

Due to the content of tannins in the plant, it is better to avoid using it in cases of constipation, anemia due to lack of iron and malnutrition.

Care should also be taken when using the plant in inflammatory or ulcerative conditions in the digestive tract.

The plant must be taken separately from iron supplements, vitamin B1 and medicines/plants containing alkaloids (such as medicines containing ephedrine, atropine or codeine) as well as bronchodilator medicines, Tylenol, and paracetamol.

The plant is prohibited for use by people suffering from reflux (vomiting).
